I love old barns that are settled into the ground and becoming one with nature. This one I found while roaming the back roads of Grant County. For this rendering I whetted each area separately, then dropped in pure color, allowing the paint to blend on the page. The pastel colors in the trees, hints of spring sap rising to give life to fresh green leaves, after the first flush of red appears in the twigs.
